In 1998, a second facility was opened at the Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson which provided an alternative location for funerals, memorial services, visitations, and funeral luncheons. Also in that same year, a Family Services Counselor was added to assist families with prearranging funeral and cremation services. In 1999, a crematory was installed at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel to provide our community with full cremation services. This marriage was blessed with three children, Charles Dean, Daniel, and Michael. Charles and Linda resided at their home in Hutchinson for 53 years. Charles M. Reading, husband of Linda, age 78, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at his home in Hutchinson. He was always upbeat and a great person to be around. When he need assistance with his daily care, Kevin became a resident of the Estates at Delano and passed away there on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the age of 60 years. No parent should suffer the loss of a child.

Charles especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, great grandson, “grand dogs”, and friends playing cards and visiting. Family of Isaac, I am deeply sorry for your loss of your precious Isaac. The Finest Pilot and the Epitome of humbleness and dedication to go before all of us to demonstrate the excellence of a Pilot in command. His inner joy and charisma would light up the whole terminal when passing by him. He was a unique individual and I can’t phantom that he is not here on earth anymore.

Elden Egesdal purchased Gaylord’s Quist and Johnson Funeral Chapel in 1977. Egesdal had been involved in funeral service since 1962 and had served the communities of St. Peter, Gaylord, and Fairfax, Minnesota. Our deepest Sympathy to the family of Maureen. His heart was full of love for God, family, and friends. His junior year, Isaac went on a mission trip with his mom to Nicaragua where he was able to share his love for the Lord with others. After Floyd’s death, the furniture store was operated by Floyd’s son, Richard Dobratz. The Dobratz Chapel was renamed the Dobratz-Hantge Chapel, reflecting the continued tradition of the Dobratz name in Hutchinson. — Our family was very pleased with everything the Dobratz Hantge funeral chapel did for us when our father passed away. Kevin Edward Herrmann was born on May 15, 1962, in Waconia, Minnesota.
He was the son of Edward and Donna Herrmann. Kevin was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth. He received his education in Glencoe and was a graduate of the Glencoe High School. Kevin E. Herrmann, age 60, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at The Estates at Delano in Delano, Minnesota.
